NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder, $2.99
I don't know about you guys, but I'm always on the search for a great face powder. I want good coverage, all day wear, and no clumping, flaking or drying. Finding that seems to be harder than finding a good red lipstick! However, I think I've finally found a great contender, and the best part is it fits even the tiniest of budgets!

LUSH Cosmetics Haul

lush-cosmetics-haul

Outside of my mini scented candle haul, I haven't had a proper haul here on the blog. Well, I thought it was time to rectify that! I've recently bought some goodies from LUSH and I just couldn't wait any longer to show you loves what I purchased.

I've only been a LUSH fan for a short while now, and I could kick myself for not popping in sooner! Now every time I go in I have to keep myself from buying out the whole store as I just can't decide on what I want. I want it all! For now, I'll have to be content with the fab products I recently picked up.  Ready to see what I bought? Let's go, babes!

Blog Collaboration | Seven for the Rainbow

Hello, beauties! I hope your weeks have gone fantastically! I'm sorry that I've been a bit lax on posting. I've been finishing the move from my old apartment to my current home, had multiple doctor's appointments, and loads of housework, and it has had me busy. Just know that I've missed my loves so much. That means each of you, if you weren't sure!

Today, I'm coming to you with something really special! For a few weeks now, I've been discussing doing a blog collaboration with the sweet Daphne from Subgenre of a Dream. So we decided to team up and host one with five other fabulous beauty bloggers!

The premise is that each of us pick a color of the rainbow, swapping out indigo for pink, and we then pick five of our favorite products from our color to share with our readers. Well, lovelies, that time is now! I picked pink, an old favorite of mine, and I've got some lush products that I think you'll all just drool over. I know I do! So, let's get started, shall we?

Scented Candle Haul

Recently I've picked up a handful of candles, and I loved them so much I felt like I just needed to show them off to all of you! As you can probably tell, I'm a huge sucker for sweet, baked goods type scents, and also fresh, fragrant flowers. These candles definitely fit the bill, and I've been loving how my home smells like I've baked tasty treats and picked flowers from the garden when I haven't lifted a finger.

The Best and Worst Lip Balm Pots and Tins

best-lip-balms, worst-lip-balms, lip-balm-roundup

Hello, beauties! I hope you've all had an absolutely fab week so far!  I've been a bit under the weather, but now I'm back and I come bearing a lovely follow-up to Monday's hit round up of the best and worst lip balm sticks! So let's get to it, shall we?

I love stick type lip balms for easy on the go application, but when I'm at home and getting my face ready for a night out on the town, I love slathering a luscious balm from a tin onto my lips. There's just something that signals the beginning of a glorious night when I slap a little balm on to settle and moisturize while I apply the rest of my makeup.

So, I thought that after giving you a rundown of some of my least and most favorite lip balm sticks, I might do the same with my favorite pots and tins. After all, variety is the spice of life, is it not?

The Best and Worst Lip Balm Sticks

best-lip-balms, worst-lip-balms, lip-balm-review

Now, I don't know about you, but during summer and winter my lips stay unbearably chapped. No matter how much water I drink, how much I scrub, or how much lip balm I put on, it never seems to be enough. Because of that, I've been on a mission to find what I believe to be the best lip balm on the block! I've gone through tons of brands and tons of formulas, but nothing has ever quite done the trick.

However, I'm not giving up! There has to be something magical out there, right? Since I can't imagine that I'm the only one with this issue, I figured I'd do a little wrap up of the lip balm sticks I've bought lately, and let you know just how good (or bad!) I've found them to be! So let's get to it!
