Antica Farmacista Damascena Rose, Orris and Oud Diffuser - Review

Antica Farmacista Damascena Rose, Orris and Oud Diffuser, $26.00-$94.00

Disclaimer: This post contains products sent to me by a brand or PR company in exchange for a review. However, all words and opinions are my own, as always.

Typically when you think of winter-esque scents, floral fragrances aren't the first thing that comes to mind. Winter scenes usually conjure up visions of sparkling snow, crackling fireplaces, warm kitchen spices, and delectable baked goods rising in the oven. And while I burn many a candle and melt many a wax that fills my home with the scent of a snowy day or a quiet bakery, I find that there is no fragrance more beautiful than that of winter roses. So when Antica Farmacista tapped me to fill my own home with the stylings of their Damascena Rose, Orris and Oud Diffuser, I couldn't allow this chance to indulge in one of my flowery vices to pass me by.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick | Thin Lizzy, $21.00
With the holidays firmly behind us now, it can be easy to forget that winter has only just begun. Jumping into the new year encourages us to begin to look forward to the coming of spring, full of it's gorgeous, bright hues. However, the reality is that we have several frozen months ahead of us before we can get there, so it's not the time quite yet to pack away our vampiest shades. One such vampy lipstick that I've been obsessively reaching for this winter is Kat Von D's Studded Kiss Lipstick in Thin Lizzy, and I'll admit that when spring does finally roll around it will be painfully hard to part with this stunner.

My 2016 Resolutions

my-2016-resolutions

Happy New Year, everyone, and welcome to 2016! I hope that 2015 treated each of you kindly and that you're ready to jump into 2016 with arms wide open. One of my favorite things about the start of a shiny, new year is that it gives each of us a chance to wipe the slate clean, and it truly feels like anything is possible. Cheesy, but true. Now, I know that some people feel that resolutions are a waste of time and a little obnoxious, but I enjoy having a small list of goals to help point my inner compass for the year. 2015 saw me propelled forward in so many aspects of my life, and I'm hoping to keep the momentum going in 2016 for a fantastic year. So here are the resolutions I want to work towards personally, health-wise, financially, and blog-wise this year.
